Nice, May 10, 2023 – ITF and Tennium are pleased to announce the Order of Play of the Hopman Cup 2023, which will be played from July 19 to 23, on the courts of the Nice Lawn Tennis Club (LTC) and will bring together the elite of international tennis in the South of France, including the youngest world No. 1 in history: Carlos Alcaraz and the world No. 7 Holger Rune.
A total of six teams will participate in the 2023 edition of the legendary Hopman Cup, which will return to Nice to offer the public an exceptional tournament! As in previous editions of the Hopman Cup, each team will consist of one male and one female player, with matches between nations including one women’s singles match, one men’s singles match and one mixed doubles match.
Denmark VS Switzerland
The competition will begin on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, on the center court of the Nice LTC, with a women’s singles match between Denmark represented by Clara Tauson and Switzerland by Belinda Bencic. Followed by a men’s singles between Holger Rune (Denmark) and Leandro Riedi (Switzerland). And finally, a mixed doubles between the Danish duo and the Swiss players.
Denmark VS France
On Thursday, July 20, 2023, on center court, the public will be able to attend the matches of the French duo composed of Alizé Cornet from Nice and Richard Gasquet. The day will start with a women’s singles between Danish Clara Tauson and French Alizé Cornet. The men’s singles will bring together Holger Rune (Denmark) and Richard Gasquet (France) on the Nice LTC courts. These matches will be followed by the mixed doubles during which the Danish players will face the French duo.
Belgium VS Croatia
On Court N°1, Belgium will meet Croatia. The women’s singles: Elise Mertens (Belgium) against Donna Vekic (Croatia), will be followed by the men’s singles between David Goffin (Belgium) and Borna Coric (Croatia). And finally, the mixed doubles.
Belgium VS Spain
On Friday, July 21, Belgium will meet Spain on center court. The youngest world No. 1 in the history of tennis and his compatriot will reveal their talent on the clay court of the Nice LTC. The day will start with a women’s singles match between Elise Mertens (Belgium) and Paula Badosa (Spain). Then David Goffin (Belgium) and Carlos Alcaraz (Spain) will face each other on center court. And finally, the mixed doubles.
Switzerland VS France
On court N°1, Switzerland will face France. Belinda Bencic (Switzerland) and Alizé Cornet (France) will meet in the women’s singles, followed by the men’s singles between Leandro Riedi (Switzerland) and Richard Gasquet (France). And the day will be closed by the mixed doubles.
Croatia VS Spain
On Saturday, July 22, 2023, the center court will host a match between Croatia and Spain. The women’s singles will be played by Donna Vekic (Croatia) and Paula Badosa (Spain), followed by the men’s singles between Borna Coric (Croatia) and Carlos Alcaraz (Spain). And finally the mixed doubles between the Croatian and Spanish teams.

Sunday, July 23 is the big day of the finals! On the program: the women’s singles final, followed by the men’s singles final and finally, the long-awaited mixed doubles final!
