A four-time Davis Cup champion and two-time Olympian, Feliciano Lopez now adds Hopman Cup representative to his illustrious resume. The 35-year-old Spaniard has played some of his best tennis later in his career, rising to a career-high singles rank of No.12 in 2015 and reaching No.15 in doubles in 2016. The left-handed Lopez combined with countryman Marc Lopez to win his first Grand Slam title at the French Open in 2016, a major highlight in a year that also saw him win his fifth career ATP singles title.

Arruabarrena becomes the sixth woman to represent Spain in the Hopman Cup competition, as the nation makes its return after a three-year absence.
The 24-year-old won her second career WTA singles title in Seoul in September, which propelled her to a new career-high rank of No.61. Arruabarrena is also an accomplished doubles player. She has won seven WTA titles, including two in 2016 to reach a career-high rank of No.28 in February.
